The frequency of fixed wire testing will depend on a variety of factors, such as the type of electrical installation, its age and condition, and the use to which it is put. However, as a general rule, fixed wire testing should be carried out at least every five years.

Construction sites and industrial sites will require testing more frequently.

PAT Testing

We use computerised test instruments to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT electrical testing). Not only do these instruments have the ability to gather test results in a downloadable software format, they have also been specifically designed to safely carry out testing of sensitive “IT” equipment without causing any damage to the electronics within.
